Sesko has been the reported as the number one centre-forward target for the Gunners this summer, but The Sun say that no deal has been struck with RB Leipzig, who may want the full £70m release clause in their striker's contract. That has caused Mikel Arteta to begin work on other options.

The report states that Eintracht Frankfurt Hugo Ekitike and Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez are both being studied by the club. Alvarez only left Premier League rivals Manchester City for La Liga last summer.
