Prolific frontman left Tottenham in 2023Boasts impressive strike rate in GermanyIn danger of missing out on silverwareWHAT HAPPENED?
The England captain headed to the Allianz Arena in 2023 expecting to break his personal silverware duck during a productive debut campaign in Germany. Kane has delivered, with 29 goals recorded through 30 appearances, but collective struggles have Bayern in danger of ending the season empty-handed.

Many have taken great delight in seeing perennial winners Bayern flop after acquiring Kane, and there has been talk of him making a hasty retreat back to the Premier League – where Tottenham’s all-time leading scorer could still chase down Alan Shearer’s goal record in the English top-flight.
WHAT COLLYMORE SAID ABOUT KANE
Former England international Stan Collymore – who briefly took on a European challenge himself when joining Spanish side Real Oviedo in 2001 – hopes that Kane will stay put and complete his mission in Munich, telling : “Football agents now and again will brief the press about their clients and therefore, I was disappointed to see that Harry Kane was linked with a move back to the Premier League this week amid the ongoing struggles of Bayern Munich. Harry may be happy at Bayern, but I would be saddened if the Englishman returned to his home country. Why? The whole point of joining a club is because you have a genuine belief that you can help them achieve things and although it looks like that is not going to happen for him this year, all I can say is stay where you are. Kane is at a big club and if you don’t win the league this year, there is a very good chance you will get your hands on it next season.”
Collymore added: “It would be refreshing for Harry to address these rumours and make light of the stories as he more than likely knows that people are saying he is a jinx and they are making their jokes. All he needs to do is say he is staying and in it for the long haul and if he does that, the trophies will come.”

Kane could still land major honours this season, but Bayern have slipped eight points adrift of unbeaten table-toppers Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga title race and trail their Champions League last-16 tie with Serie A giants Lazio 1-0 heading into a return date in Germany on March 5.
