Celtic have signed Liam Burt after a trial at Parkhead and the fans aren’t too sure what to think about their latest arrival.
The 20-year-old joins on a two-year deal having been released by Rangers at the end of last season, after making just three first-team appearances for the Gers.
According to The Scottish Sun, the attacking midfielder had been on trial at Celtic Park since June, playing a part in both the senior side and development squad’s pre-seasons.
The youngster will join Tommy McIntyre’s reserve side with the aim of earning some chances in Neil Lennon’s first-team over his 24-month deal.
The Celtic supporters aren’t sure on their newest recruit, with some concerned about the fact that he couldn’t cut it across town at Ibrox and despite being 20, the same age as Mikey Johnston, is set to play for the reserves.
Yet, others are excited about a highly-rated prospect joining their ranks. He has been capped for the Scotland U21 side and plenty are hopeful he’ll fulfil his potential at Parkhead.
