Leeds United have been dealt an injury “blow”, with a £40,000-a-week star set for a spell on the sidelines.
Leeds start Premier League season with 1-0 win over Everton
The Whites made a perfect start to life back in the Premier League on Monday evening, beating Everton 1-0.
Summer signing Lukas Nmecha scored the winner from the penalty spot late on, with Anton Stach, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Lucas Perri all making their debuts from the start.
Since then, Leeds have brought in Noah Okafor to bolster their attacking options even further. The Switzerland international has cost the Whites up to £18m, something which Farke was delighted with.
“He has really good pace, he’s a really good dribbler, really good on the offensive one-on-one. A strong player as well. I don’t want to pressure him too much because he’s not played one game, so I’ll let him deliver before, but from his skills, he has more or less everything to impress, and it’s up to him.”
