The Three Lions have confirmed that Saka has been omitted from their travelling squad for the trip to Helsinki. The winger will return to Arsenal's set-up to recover from the hamstring injury that he suffered during the team's 2-1 loss to Greece earlier this week. It was also confirmed that Liverpool's Curtis Jones has stayed back in England due to a personal commitment.

A statement on the England men's team's official website read: "Curtis Jones and Bukayo Saka will not travel to Finland. Saka has returned to Arsenal for further assessment having been substituted during the second-half of Thursday night’s match against Greece.
"Liverpool’s Jones remains in England owing to a personal commitment. A squad of 22 will now fly to Helsinki on Saturday afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Nations League fixture."

Saka's injury comes as a huge blow for the Gunners, who have made a strong start to the new season and currently find themselves third in the Premier League table tied on points with Manchester City and one point behind leaders Liverpool.
